In our prayers we remember:

We pray for peace, earthquake victims and survivors in Haiti , Chile , and all who offer help, for people in Zimbabwe , for Palestine and Israel , for refugees & asylum seekers, safety & calm in Afghanistan and in Iran , for seasonable weather, for farmers and all affected by drought, flood and fire.

We pray for our link missionaries: Lesley Doy ( Chile , her safety and work following the earthquake) and Jenny, Steve and Timothy and Elizabeth Sonneman ( Pakistan . Pray for this parish, for our rector, for Parish Council, wardens, guardians, prison ministry. Pray for our linked Melbourne parish, St Alfred's, Blackburn North. We remember the faithful departed, especially Lionel Wells, Nancy McPherson, Wal Stirling and Leonard Bowe, whose anniversaries fall this week.
